In 2004 I set set off to walk from London to Istanbul on a whim. 5,000 kilometres, 2 pairs of shoes and a fractured fibula later I crossed the river Bosporus into Asia.

Photography and fly fishing are my two vices in life.

I’m currently working with Ben Saunders as his operations director. Ben is a record-breaking long-distance skier, with four North Pole expeditions under his belt. He is the youngest (and one of only three in history) to ski solo to the North Pole and holds the record for the longest solo Arctic journey by a Briton. This October we are heading to Antarctica with the aim of completing Captain Scott's Terra Nova expedition. To follow our progress have a look at http://scottexpedition.com
